From the Editors

The editors of Drawn from Building "L" are excited that you've taken this opportunity to visit our online version of the GW Art Therapy Program newsletter. In the past few months, we have been working hard to broaden our scope in hopes of promoting a connected community between and among professionals and students in the field of art therapy. Our World Wide Web efforts have been an attempt to promote our student perspective to the art therapy community as well as to those who seek a better understanding of art therapy.

Whether you are in the art therapy field or not, we hope you enjoy browsing the current events and viewpoints from the students. We have also included related links which may give more factual or fun information about people or topics in the articles. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, and suggestions.

Statement of Purpose

Our goal is to provide a channel for communication among students, faculty, and alumni as well as introduce prospective students and the art therapy community to The George Washington University's Graduate Art Therapy Program. Drawn from Building "L" will provide articles, commentary, notices, poetry, humor, and anything pertinent to art therapy. If you wish to be included in the newsletter or to respond to anything presented in this issue, please contact us.
